My Hotpoint fridge freezer is noisy
A noisy fridge freezer isn’t uncommon, especially on a new appliance.
A sharp cracking sound from within your fridge freezer can usually be attributed to the build up of frost on your internal fridge components.
Causes of noise:
• The pump/compressor motor – Normal
• Pipe work vibrating against the wall – Check the position
• Gas circulating inside pipes – Normal
• Cracking sounds – Defrosting Air Movement – Normal

Can I stack my Hotpoint fridge and freezer on top of each other?
You must not stack your Hotpoint refrigeration appliances directly on top of each other as the cabinets of the appliances are not suitable for this purpose.
In order to be able to stack appliances you will need to purchase a product that is designed and built with this type of floor space saving feature such as an Hotpoint fridge freezer.

There is an amber light on my Hotpoint fridge freezer, what is it for?
If an amber light is illuminated on the front of your Hotpoint fridge freezer this means that the fast freeze switch/button has been selected.
If this is not required simply press the button (or reverse the switch) to put the appliance back into its normal operating mode.
